A Taste of South Jersey

Don’t tell our very own Regina that South Jersey has no taste (OK maybe their fashion is questionable). As far as culinary delights, the area can compete with the best of them. So how do you show off these local offerings and raise money for a good cause? By hosting an event where local chefs serve up their finest, all in the name of raising awareness and money for temporary homelessness.
The Family Promise – Interfaith Hospitality Network of Gloucester County aims to “provide homeless families an opportunity to achieve stability by providing shelter, food, case management, and hospitality while simultaneously utilizing resources within local congregations and the community” which certainly takes some resources so hosting an event like this, seems like a no-brainer.
Regina will be there as an event volunteer so if you are in the neighborhood, hungry, want to contribute to a worthwhile cause AND need to say hi to Regina, the event will be held on Monday 16th November at Adelphia’s Restaurant, 1750 Clements Bridge Road, Deptford. Tickets are $25 and there will also be a basket and a live auction. For full details of the Second Annual Taste of South Jersey, view their flyer.
