I was hoping that the Internet police would not settle on a name for the new non-entity so quickly. And why did everyone decide that Mirohoo would be the best alternative?
I want to put forth a few alternatives for consideration:
MicroWho same name but different context
MShoo - prononunced MZ hoo
YaSoft - self explanatory
YaMS - can be either yams or YA MZ
Better yet why not spin it off and try something completely different
Surreal
Hoocares
whynot
Little Googol - yes this spelling not to be confused with a real company
Decillion - a number large like Googol but not as big - I am warming to this one.
Lastly did anyone notice that in the earnings announcement last week with Google that they still have over $14 B in cash like items on hand - in other words they could buy this mess if they wanted to but that would be a real mistake.
So the question remains - does Yahoo go with MS or have Google run their search. Answer will be interesting - Either way Google wins - why is their share price going down. They win if Yahoo has them run things and
I believe the win if it actually could get through regulatory approval and the two entities attempt to consolidate things - I see mess written all over that strategy unless someone can show me instances that either Yahoo or MS has done a good job of incorporating another large competing entity into their fold. Can you say AOL and Time Warner - aw come on they were different entities - not what they said when announced - remember there were synergies - where are they???
Let me know if you have other entries for better names than Microhoo.
