We'll never beat SEO, but working with it and giving the search engines and customers what they want IE Great Content ... Is going to go much further than trying to work out the mysteries of google ... Working with your clients, by letting them know you learning along the way, is a great way to keep your clients liking and trusting you - Keep up the excellent work and enjoying what you do, great job !

SEO definitely has that, "The more you find out, the less you know" feel about it...not to mention the fact that the search engines are constantly changing the rules. What applies today may be completely backwards in a year or two. I appreciate the fact you're honest about what you don't know...we try to do the same. We provide the back-end processes for a local internet marketing company and have learned quite a bit about the local SEO space.

SEO can seem to be a strange a mysterious creature. You are on the right track with admitting when you don't know and then finding out the answer. Clients appreciate respect and easily see therough dishonesty *you may fool em once, but eventually, you get causght and lose all credibility). I admire you for dong the right thing. And, you are right - it's fun!

I agree with you. There really is so much to learn about search engine optimization (SEO). It seems like as soon as start to get a handle on it, that it changes again. Those playing the SEO game have to keep an open mind and try to stay ahead of the curve.

Keep up the good work!

I agree with the transparency attitude. I think people respond to it better once you already work with them. But do you think it would work for a sales person as well ?

Hi and thanks for the comment. I surely agree with the lifetime to master part, but a minute to learn? I must be a slow learner. . . .

Hi Regina,

I really know what you mean by: "The more you learn,. the more you realized what you don't know"

I think that phrase applies to anything that falls under the minute to learn, lifetime to master category.
